I am a huge fan of Julia Rothman's best-selling illustrated Anatomy series : Nature Anatomy, Farm Anatomy and Food Anatomy, colourful, educational and amusing guides to nature's hidden wonders, life on a farm and delicious treats from kitchen and pantries around the world.
They are both beautifully illustrated and very interesting to read, which make them a great addition to our homeschooling library. Our kids love to learn and draw from them.
We were so excited to discover a new guide !

In Ocean Anatomy, Julia Rothman invites us to follow the shorelines, to explore life above the waves and to dive deep into the open ocean, where we can discover a beautiful and curious whole new world.

Through her drawings and the words of John Niekrasz we learn how the world's oceans formed, why the sea is salty, we explore the coral reefs, we study the anatomy of different marine creatures, we learn of the impact of plastic and so much more.

It is such a wonderful book for us. We live by the ocean, we love the ocean, but who doesn't ? It is such a wonderful place to explore for curious minds and it is so important to educate our kids about the world, in order for them to respect and love it.
We highly recommend this great books series that will entertain and educate readers of all ages.
